Metallica great show
I've attended many concerts since the 1970s and Metallica ranks up there top 3. It was the first time I had seen them and it was a awesome show. Had a great time and didn't even drink wanted to remember the show. They played all of the songs that I really like. Had good seats even though we stood the whole time. Wish the lines weren't that long to buy shirts. Waited till the concert was over to wait in line coz didn't want to miss the concert, but then couldn't get the shirt I wanted so had to pick a different one. Overall it was excellent. The whole experience was great won my tickets on 105.9x and attended the blackened whiskey tasting.
Bucket List - Did Not Disappoint!
Such an incredible concert at an incredible venue. I’ll admit Ice Nine Kills was not my thing - the music was far too “alternapop” mixed with deathcore. I think they probably have talent, but it’s waaay off target in terms of being my type of thing. I’ll also admit that while I enjoy many bands with a “darker side,” like Iron Maiden, Ghost, Slipknot, and others, I didn’t really feel that the constant mock murders on stage added anything to the experience, but actually detracted from it. It’s just not my thing.
OK, enough about that…
Greta Van Fleet was insanely good. I have enjoyed their albums, but man - live is the way to go with them! Incredible performances by all, and left me wanting more, even though I was excited to finally see Metallica!
I’ll admit, Singh Metallica was a bucket list item for me, and I was extremely satisfied with their tremendous performance. This had to of been one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. The band was totally into the crowd, and vice versa. They brought an incredible Setlist to life through their performance, And I will definitely be seeing them again in the future if possible. I hope they know that Pittsburgh absolutely loves them, and keep us on their regular tour city list. I simply cannot wait to see them again. These guys know how to continue to deliver amazing shows, even after 41 years. It’s just incredible.
WOWW!!!
I've had a few Metallica favs over the years, but never considered myself a "die-hard fan."
My son on the other hand, is a huge Metallica fan. He had said to me more than once this summer that he'd really like to see Metallica live before they eventually retire. His birthday (31) was coming up (8/25), so I bought two tickets to the Buffalo concert on 8/11 & told him to take a buddy and have a blast! He asked ME to go with him and I was floored! WHAT AN AWESOME NIGHT!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO!!
Now when they come on the radio, I crank it up LOUD!!! Definitely 5 stars!
To the Metallica Boys...You have yourself another Fan!!
Best Metallica show EVER!
Although i am not partial to the Hard Rock Live venue, wish they played in an arena, Metallica brought the thrash metal back in my face, hard. They tore through the first to albums opening with Creeping Death and closing with Hit the Lights. Along the ride was Whiplash, Fight Fire with Fire, Seek and Destroy, Trapped under Ice, Ride the Lightening, Blitzkrieg, Phantom Lord, Metal Militia, Am I Evil, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Sanitarium, and one I have never heard them play live, The Call of Kutulu. They had nice interludes, a before and after slide show and videos of the Zazulas which was interesting. Without a doubt the best i have ever seen Metallica
